ODER-NEISSE
“An endless stream, a great silence, an impenetrable forest.”
Oder-Neisse is the name given to the Polish-German border formed at the end of the second world war. Photographed in that region between 2013 and 2016 and exploring themes of land, identity and occupation, this work was inspired by the origins of the artist's maternal family and influenced by the writing of Joseph Conrad.
